National Service Framework (NSF) of Quality Improvenment for NHS Funded Library Services in England
http://www.library.nhs.uk/nlhdocs/nsf_for_quality_improvement_2008_v1.1.pdf
The purpose of the NSF is to establish a quality cycle that will drive forward the modernisation of health library and knowledge services.
A baseline assessment of the NSF of Quality Improvement was piloted by all West Midlands Trust Library Services in April 2009. The standards document folder contains the National Report on the NSF for Library Services and the National and Local Baseline Assessment Data.
As a result of the pilot a review of the national standards is currently taking place. This review is being led by a task and finish group of SHALL Service Development Group. The aim is to re-draft the standards ready for introduction in April 2010. Any documents for consultation during this process will be included on the Standards Document page.
