2. Workforce Development

• Development of library workforce across the West Midlands region
• Information literacy and access to knowledge for the NHS workforce
• E-learning strategy development
• Informing the healthcare workforce of knowledge management and IM&T systems to support their practice in terms of best evidence
• Supporting commissioning of contracts in terms of national policy in relation to best evidence and knowledge management

3.Performance Monitoring

• Quality assurance of library services in PCTs and Trusts
• Performance management of MPET funding through the Learning and Development Agreements (LDAs)
