CILIP’s Framework of Qualifications provide a range of qualifications which are assessed through portfolio submissions.  They include:

Certification – para-professionals award
Chatership – ‘second level professional award’ awarded by CILIP.
Fellowship – highest level of professional qualification.  
Revalidations - open to all Chartered members and Fellows who wish to gain recognition of their commitment to personal professional development.

Introduction to Certification (CILIP website)

Forms - copies of the forms which need to be completed for certification.
Supporting information – This page includes links to a range of resources and information about  support available.

Other CILIP Support Available 

Candidate Support Officers organise events that support those working towards a CILIP qualification, such as ‘Introduction to Chartership’ events.  They can also offer support to candidates.  Preeti Puligari is the West Midlands CSO.

Mentoring Scheme
A mentor is mandatory for Chartership candidates and recommended for Certification.  This section details about the CILIP mentoring scheme, the training needed to become a mentor and how to find a mentor.
