Objective

To search for curriculum standards for health sciences information skills learning outcomes in the UK HE community.  To identify which have widest acceptance.  To map the West Midlands Learning Outcomes passport to the same.

Project Team should ideally contain a mix of Trainers from both the NHS and HE Health Sciences sectors.

The Project team is currently mapping the Learning Outcomes Passport (link) to SCONUL’s 7 pillars of information literacy document http://www.sconul.ac.uk/groups/information_literacy/publications/coremodel.pdf  It expects to complete this task by the end of February.

Information Literacy Passport for NHS / Higher Education Collaboration completed March 2012.
